Termico’s Ecowool Acoustic Partition Batts combine the thermal efficiency of their standard batts with superior acoustic performance. The high-density glass mineral wool structure reduces noise transmission while providing excellent insulation properties. All products are certified under AS/NZS 4859.1:2018 and compliant with relevant acoustic standards (e.g. ASTM C423)

• 430mm batts: 10.47 m² per pack
• 580mm batts: 11.6 m² per pack

Insulation batts come in different widths to suit the spacing between the timber or steel joists in your ceiling or wall.

430mm wide batts are designed for 450mm joist spacing (common in older homes and wall cavities)
580mm wide batts are made for 600mm joist spacing (common in modern ceilings and newer builds)

Not sure what spacing you have?

You can measure the distance from the centre of one ceiling joist to the next. If it’s close to 450mm, choose 430mm batts. If it’s closer to 600mm, go with 580mm batts.

Choosing the right width ensures a snug fit with no gaps or compression — which means better insulation performance.
